External Relations

Due to its geopolitical position, the Leningrad Region is actively developing international, interregional and foreign economic relations. Currently, cooperation agreements of the Leningrad Region are being implemented with the Governments of the:

• Vitebsk, Gomel, Minsk, Mogilev Regions of the Republic of Belarus
• Sofia Region of the Republic of Bulgaria
• Federal Land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern of the Federal Republic of Germany
• Hebei Province of the People`s Republic of China
• Province of South Chungcheong Province of the Republic of Korea
• Nordland Province of the Kingdom of Norway
• Agency for the Regional Administration of Southern Finland of the Republic of Finland
• Prefecture Kyoto of Japan
